Nothing overlaps, and nothing is left to inference. VDN supplies the pathway, the protocol, and the back office. Your site supplies the suite, the staff, and patient enrollment in your own market — and the treating physician, unless your site has none, in which case VDN provides one.
VDN provides

- Clinical protocol, candidacy criteria, and documentation standards
- Centralized patient intake, scheduling, and coordination
- Complete administrative and billing infrastructure
- Outcome registry and long-term patient follow-up
- A treating physician credentialed to VDN protocol, where the site has none
- Network brand and designation as a VDN affiliate network site
The affiliate site provides
- A treating physician trained in the procedure, where the site has one
- A procedure suite meeting the standards of the state in which it operates
- Dedicated procedure days reserved for VDN cases
- Clinical support staff on procedure days
- Patient enrollment and outreach in its own market
- Enrollment inquiry capture and transfer into VDN intake
- Scheduling coordination staff
Patient enrollment is the site's responsibility.
Patient enrollment and outreach in the local market is the site’s responsibility. VDN does not route patients to affiliate sites and does not supply patient volume — the network opens a service line to the veterans already in your own market.
Commercial terms, market designation, and payer contracting are handled directly by VDN and are discussed after qualification.
